The approach focuses on learning through discovery.[32]Jean Jacques Rousseau recommended that teachers should exploit individual children's interests in order to make sure each child obtains the information most essential to his personal and individual development.
(4) Children with Disabilities.
Children with disabilities are reported to have high levels of social–emotional problems, and one of the most prominent characteristics of children with ASD, Fragile X syndrome, and other disabilities is problems in social–emotional functioning.
